Convenient Locations and Quality Care all a Part of the DakotaClinic Mission
Most people who live in a rural area can relate to how frustrating it can
be to find quality healthcare in a convenient location. Going to a doctor's
visit can sometimes mean traveling 45 minutes to 1 ½ hours. In an emergency
or in inclement weather, this is not always an option that you can choose. Fortunately
many hospitals and clinics have recognized this and have begun to open clinics
that can reach rural areas, areas where public transportation is not an option
as well as areas located near a bus route. The clinics that are part of the
DakotaClinic have made this outreach part of their mission.
In 1926, a physician partnership with only 10 employees started the Dakota
Clinic. Now there are 22 locations and over 200 providers that serve eastern
North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Dakota Clinic works with Innovis Health
to provide quality care and innovative technology to all that they serve. Some
of the specialty services connected with Dakota Clinic and Innovis Health include
the Cancer Institute, Women's and Children's Services and Heart and Vascular
Services.
For information on all the locations, you can visit the website at Dakotaclinic.com.
